About us

We have worked for a safer working life since 2009

Semac was established in 2009 with a clear purpose: to create safer workplaces through secure processes, solid documentation and strong professional assessments throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Since then, we have grown into a leading provider of personnel security, background checks, digital reference checks, and security and emergency preparedness services. Our role is to give organisations a decision-making foundation they can trust, and a level of security that protects employees, assets and reputation.
In 2023, Semac became part of the investment company Hawk Infinity. This provides a solid foundation for further development of technology, methodology and services that make everyday life safer for both employers and employees.

Even though our line of work does not pose physical environmental risks, we consider it our responsibility to reduce our environmental impact where we can.
